A podiatry visit with Foot Revival is so much more than just routine nail cutting, hard skin and corn removal. We aim to rid you of your problem and at the same time revive your feet back to good health. We begin with a rejuvenating foot bath, treat your problems and complete the session with a moisturising foot massage.
We also specialise in Diabetic Foot Care, Ingrown & Deformed Nails, Verrucae Treatment and Lower Limb GAIT Analysis for conditions such as Plantar Fasciitis or Fallen Arches. With over 20 years of podiatric experience, we endeavour to solve your foot troubles and guarantee you will leave our clinics the happy and healthy feet.
The Foot Revival treatment is quite frankly what it says on the tin, the rejuvenation of your feet. The consultation starts off with an uplifting foot bath and, if you are a new patient or diabetic, a detailed assessment of your feet will follow. The treatment required will be concluded with a moisturising foot massage. Then entire treatment will last about 30 minutes.
Do your feet ache, perhaps first thing out of bed or during and after long walks? Then it sounds like you definitely need a biomechanics assessment. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to, if not already, ankle, knee, hip and lower-back pain.
The assessment consists of testing muscle strength, joint range of motion, monitoring GAIT patterns and the angular relationship between your feet, ankles, legs, knees, hips, spine and shoulders. Resolution often requires exercises and a custom insole.
The entire procedure is carried out within 1 hour under Local Anaesthetic. The offending aspect of the nail is removed and a chemical is applied to prevent re-growth. A series of re-dressing appointments will also be included to ensure you recover and heal fully from the operation. Antibiotics may also be supplied to eradicate any infection.

Verrucae are simply warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), and we generally get them around the toes or soles of your feet. Verrucae infection can resolve itself using your bodies immune system, however treatment is advised to eliminate any symptoms, and the possibility of cross-infection.

I have never particularly enjoyed cutting my toenails; it has usually ended up with drawing blood of some measure. It took my wife to persuade me to visit Jonathan a couple of years ago, and now I am hooked! As well as keeping my toes in trim, I no longer have neither a thick coat of hard skin or the occasional corn. "Foot Revival" sums it up very succinctly and my feet thoroughly recommend a visit.
I always thought going to the chiropodist was for the elderly and I put up with a painful big toe for years, something I thought I just had to live with. Eventually I relented and now I have a regular appointment for a foot revival with Jonathan. A warm footbath and a chat are followed by some treatment, a pedicure and culminate in a lovely relaxing foot massage. My feet feel re-energised! I am so glad I revised my initial thought and now I have happy and comfortable feet.
